7 Herbs – Poland Pavilion at Expo 2025

7 Herbs is an animated herbarium created for the Poland Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, connecting Polish herbal traditions with the parallel Japanese custom of springtime ‘seven herbs’ dishes. Contemporary illustration references the Polish school of illustration while the content explores plants associated with flavour, traditional remedies and folklore, including beliefs later examined through science.

We led the technology delivery from hardware specification and interaction constraints through development, stakeholder review and final installation. The experience was deployed across seven locations in Osaka, with a creative team distributed across four countries. Our role was to make the visual concept reliable, maintainable and consistent across every installation.
