The Illuminatus! Trilogy VR

Cinematic narrative VR experience

Inspired by The Illuminatus! Trilogy, the project translates the novels’ conspiracy, mythology and psychedelic satire into a character-driven VR journey that sits between film and interactive experience. Developed as part of a wider VR/AR/TV co-production with Amoeba and Filmtiki for Kallisti, it invites audiences to explore the characters, themes and history of the cult books from inside the story world.

We supported Amoeba across several technical areas, including animation systems, motion-capture processing, interaction design and optimisation, helping the cinematic experience perform reliably as an immersive real-time production.
